Tech. Rostering

This module enables you to create a team schedule.

Once your staff is registered in the Technicians module (as explained in the 'Technicians' article), you can start creating a duty rostering in the Tech Rostering module.

Open the Tech Rostering module. For now, there are no duty types referenced. The legend is empty.

You need to create duty types.

Switch to edit mode and click on ‘Add, Modify Duty Types’.

Click on the add button to display a column on the right side that will allow you to type the name of the duty type, set a color, a start

time, an end time, and indicate if the duty type is workable and/or on standby.

You can add other duty types by clicking on the plus button . You can also remove a type by clicking on the delete button (icon).

You can add tasks to be selected in the ‘Technician Events’ page of the iPad app.

Click on ‘General Events’ and add or delete tasks by clicking on the plus or the cross button (icon).

You can filter the technicians by type according to the job you have set for them in the Technicians module.

Each line corresponds to a technician. Double-click on the day column on the line on which you want to add a duty.

A pop-up window will let you indicate the duty type and the start and end. Then, click on OK.

The duty type will be displayed on the range of set days with the start and end times. The color will correspond to the duty type.

You can extend or reduce the duration by putting your mouse on the extremity of the cell and clicking and dragging your mouse right

or left when the arrows appear.

You can duplicate a shift by clicking on it while pressing the ctrl button of your keyboard and dragging the box on the line of your choice.

Once you have completed your calendar, you can click on the ‘Preview Print’ button, if needed.

Set the start and end dates, the number of technicians and the Apt. Height in the left column. Then, click on ‘export to’ or ‘e-mail as’ or ‘print’.
