Tracking

Tracking

This feature ensures that no task is overlooked. By creating tracking events, tasks are added to the due list, and relevant alerts are displayed.

Active Status

When a tracking event is active, the task will appear in the due list according to the depth of your settings to retrieve tasks and the deadline of the tracking event.

When a tracking event is active, the flag is green .

If you tick the ‘Rep.’ box in the ‘Tracking’ section, the deadline will be reforecasted every time you perform this task.

Inactive Status

When a tracking event is inactive, the task is not tracked which means it will not appear in the duelist.

When a tracking event is inactive, the flag is blue (blue arrow icon).

Complied Status

This status states that a one-time action has been performed.

If you set a tracking event as ‘Active’ and you do not tick the ‘Rep.’ box, once the maintenance will be performed, the status will automatically become ‘Complied’.

When the status of the tracking event is ‘Complied’, the flag is blue (blue arrow icon) because there is no active deadline.

Threshold Status

When you choose the ‘Threshold’ status, you have to fill in the ‘Threshold’ field to adapt the deadline to the threshold interval. In the frequency field, you will put the frequency of the maintenance that will be taken into account once the threshold has been reached.

Tick the ‘Rep.’ box in the ‘Tracking’ section to repeat the frequency once the threshold has been reached.

In this example, the first time the maintenance will be performed is on the 12th anniversary of the aircraft.

Then, the maintenance will be performed every 5 years.

Multi-Threshold

A tracking event can be automatically activated as soon as another has complied.

When you schedule maintenance with this task because the first tracking event deadline is coming, as soon as you close the Purchase Order, the second tracking event will be activated and the first one will become inactive.

Untick ‘Rep.’ on the first tracking event.

Set the second tracking event as inactive.

Select the limit ID of the first tracking event in the ‘Starts After’ field of the second tracking event.

Link a tracking to a Maintenance Program

A tracking event can be linked to a job card of your approved maintenance program. This way, you make sure that your aircraft complies with the regulation.

To do so, click on the ‘MP Index’ field in the ’Tracking’ section.

You will be able to select a job card from the maintenance program of the selected aircraft. Select the appropriate one.
