Label Printer

Printing Labels

Printing labels enables you to put them on parts or tools to scan them while using, fitting, removing them.

This is also a way to quickly access some information like the expiry date, shelf, reference, serial number etc.

Open the ‘Inventory Status’ module, and open the ‘Inventory Items’ tab.

Click on ’Columns Filter’ and filter by shelf for example.

Click on ‘Preview Current Labels’ to print only the labels corresponding to the displayed items.

Click on ‘Many Pages’ to display all the labels on one page. Select the number of labels you want to display by lines and columns.

You can now click on ‘Quick Print’ to print all these labels. The label printer will be automatically used.

Auto-Print Feature

What is the Auto Print feature?

Every 40 seconds the system checks if a new part is added to the inventory and automatically prints out the associated label.

Requirements:

The hangar’s computer needs to be connected to Blue EYE and the label printer.

While using the iPad, the technician has to select the re-insert in stock option when he removes a part from the aircraft.

Please note that the Auto-Print feature has to be activated on only one computer per location.

Open Blue STOK, go to the inventory status, and open the ‘Inventory Items’ tab.

The Auto-Print button is displayed in the main ribbon.

There are several options. You can choose to print your label for all the inventories (“auto print all”) or select the relevant inventory. To do so, you have to click on the button and select the corresponding option.

The auto print mode is activated when the button is yellow.
