Users

The 'Users' module is where the software administrators can create users and manage their access.




To add or remove a role, select the appropriate user, switch to edit mode and click on the button of the Roles panel (on the right) or the (red cross button) after selecting a role.


There are several types of users:


-Classic user (This role is mandatory for normal use of the desktop application).

-eTechlog Editor (This role allows users to modify an electronic Tech-Log from the desktop app).

-iPhone User (This role is mandatory to use the iPhone/iPad apps Blue EYE and Blue MRO).

-Client (On the Blue MRO app, clients have a dedicated access to current projects, invoices, etc.).

-Administrator (This is the manager role. He/She can add, edit and delete information anywhere. He/She is in charge of the management of users' accounts).

-Open-Flyers (Set a user to allow Open-Flyers Software to send Flight information: the system creates eTechlog automatically.)

-Read-Only Users (This role is given to a read-only user. Editing is not allowed).

       -Maintenance center (Restricted write access – Purchase Order module only).



Switching to edit mode also enables you to modify the password by changing it in the 'Password' field of the 'General' section on the right.

You can see it or send the credentials to the user by clicking on the envelope button  in the 'Send' column of the main grid. 

To manage the access to the different modules, open the 'Menu Access Right' tab and tick or untick the appropriate boxes.



To give access to an aircraft, open the 'Managed A/Cs' tab. Click on the plus button  of the ‘Managed A/Cs’ tab and select the aircraft.
