Crew Members
Crew Members
This module allows you to manage all your crew members and all the information related to them.
The flag system helps you see whether crew members are active (so visible on the iPad app) or inactive.
You can use the ‘No’ column of the ‘Crew Members’ panel to assign numbers to crew members to sort them at your convenience.
If you do so, in the ‘Duty Planning’ module, the list of crew members will be sorted according to the numbering of the ‘Crew Members’ module.
You can add a picture of the crew member by right-clicking above the ‘Status’ field of the ‘Crew Member Details’ panel and clicking on ‘Load Picture’.
This photo will illustrate reports.
In this panel, you can also set up the company, the home base, the gender, and the birth date of the crew member.
In the future, the weight will be used in flight logs.
The type creates groups to sort the crew members in the ‘Crew Members’ panel.
To add requirements and limitations, you need to click on the add button of the eponym panel.
You will access the list of rules created in the ‘Experience Riles’ module.
The rules will influence the status of the crew member.
The system checks all the flights performed by the crew member for the last 90 days (in this example) to update the status by counting all the performed TOs and Landings.
That also updates the ‘Last Activity’ field.
In this example, no TOs or Landings have been performed in the last 90 days.
The Flight Duty Periods (FDP) and Flight Time Limitations (FTL) are calculated thanks to the techlogs.
Open the ‘Certificates / Trainings’ tab.
If you switch to edit mode, you will be able to add certificates by clicking on the Plus button of this panel.
You can add generic counters to track the validity of the certificate.
Here, the flag of the certificate is green because the certificate is tracked and not due yet.
It will turn red when the deadline will be exceeded.
You can create assessments every time the certificate is renewed by clicking on the plus button of this panel and filling in the new line.
You can validate the assessment by clicking on the validation button of the panel. That will tell the system to automatically renew the tracking at the deadline or assessment date.
You use the ‘Related Files’ tab to attach the medical certificate of the crew member.
The ‘Duty Time’ tab is populated by the ‘Duty Planning’ module and the techlogs but you can also create duty times by switching to edit mode and clicking on the Plus button of this tab.
The flag status is green when it is an actual duty period and red when it is a planned duty period.
Open the ‘Flight Activity’ tab.
Based on the recorded techlogs, you can see the flight activity of the crew member during the period corresponding to the time range selected in the main ribbon.
By default, this time range starts 2 months before today’s date and ends 1 month after today’s date.
The system calculates the Flight Time Limitation for each flight.
Open the ‘Preview’ tab.
Here, you can extract a report with Training & Certificates, requirements and limitations, activity summary, flight activity details information.
If something does not meet the requirements (here there were 0 landings for the past 90 days and 3 were required), the text will be displayed in red.
If you click on ‘Crew Badge’ on the right, you will access the badge allowing pilots to see their information on the iPad app.
